FAQs
Frequently asked questions.
Q: Do document upload links expire? (This question only relates to enterprise partners that are leveraging the workflow that involves sending an applicant a link using the send_document_upload_email
endpoint).
A: Document upload links do not expire. Even if the applicant has already submitted an application using that link. Document upload links also do not expire in the event that a new link is generated for the same applicant. In this event both links would would still be usable by the applicant. It's important to note that as long as the applicantDetailID
remains the same then how the applicant navigates to the DUP is not important.
Q: Will I be billed separately for multiple application submissions by the same applicant?
A: No, our enterprise partners are billed on a per applicant basis. The number of document uploads or application submissions are irrelevant.
Q: Can Snappt provide me with a clean document for me to use during testing?
A: Yes, we can provide a clean document to use during testing.
Q: What is the difference between an applicantID and an applicantDetailID?
A: Every time a new application is submitted a new applicantID is created and assigned to that application. applicantDetailID is only used by enterprise partners that leverage our workflow involving the send_document_upload_email
endpoint and allows those partners to tie multiple submissions by the same applicant together. Where an applicantID is a one to one relationship with application submissions, an applicantDetailID may have a one to many relationship.
Q: Is there a limit to the number of documents that can be attached to an application?
A: If you are uploading documents on behalf of an applicant, you can upload 15 documents before receiving this error: "Only 15 documents may be attached to a single application."
